Cal Fresh provides a card which refills with a monthly amount of money to be used at the grocery store based on need. You can apply in person Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at any County of San Luis Obispo office, or online if you search “my benefits calWIN”. You can download an application, fill it out, and either mail, fax, or bring it into the local county office. Phone: (805) 781-1600
The Food Pantry is a part of the Cal Poly Hunger Program which ensures that all students have access to meals every day in order to have the focus and energy to be successful at Cal Poly. Students can choose from a wide variety of packages and canned foods, frozen meals, and personal hygiene products, no questions asked. PULSE also connects students with other resources if their needs are more demanding.
Where: in the lower level of the health center at the PULSE office.
