Front Porch Happenings

Porch Night- Every Wednesday come enjoy a free dinner provided by supporters of Front Porch, play some trivia, and engage in thought provoking discussion. This is a time to eat good food, laugh together, and have a safe place to be heard and to listen to others. Every week from 6pm to 7pm. All are welcome.

Volunteer Night- Sunday nights @ 8:30. A group of people, who are committed to making Front Porch the wonderful place that it is, gather every Sunday night to celebrate and encourage one another. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this night.  For more information about this night or about being a Front Porch Volunteer contact Joel-

Saturday Gathering- We are a group of people with a wide range of beliefs both theologically and politically. We gather together weekly because of our common belief that all of life is spiritual, our fascination with the life and teachings of Jesus, and our desire to truly know and care for people and for this world. We are exploring together what it means to be the church. We gather every Saturday at 5pm at Front Porch, and are actively involved in a wide variety of ways within the community.

Camping Trips- Every quarter Front Porch goes on a camping trip. For 2016-2017 we will be going to Sequoia National Park in the Fall, Big Sur in the Winter, and Yosemite in the Spring. We typically have room for 40 people. These trips have become very popular and fill up fast. Our Spring trip to Yosemite will be May 5-7. The cost will be $35. More details to come later. The most up-to-date information will be posted on our Instagram and Facebook page.

Open Mic Nights- Each quarter Front Porch hosts an open-mic night that is open for students to come and share their talents with the rest of the community. Our Spring Open-Mic Night will be on Nov 26 at 7:00PM.

If you have questions about these events or want to sign up to be a volunteer, contact Joel at or call 818-731-4984.
